Iran to host Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan for security talks
Video açıklaması
Iran is preparing to host high-level security talks with Turkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, as the regional conflict threatens to draw more countries into the fighting. Turkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan signed the Mecca Joint defence agreement in August. Under the deal, an attack on one member is treated as an attack on all. The talks in Tehran would mark the first high-level contact between Iran and all three members of the bloc since Saudi Arabia came under escalating Houthi attacks. Discussions are expected to focus on regional security and military coordination. Hasan Abdullah reports from Ankara.
